BNY Mellon's Wealth Management Arm Expands In Denver

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Brian O’Neil as wealth director of its Denver, Colorado office. The appointment is part of the firm’s strategic plans to expand its operations in the region, it said.

O’Neil will report to regional president James Barnyak, BNY Mellon WM said in a statement yesterday. He will be responsible for driving business development efforts around mergers and acquisitions, and business succession planning.

The new wealth director at BNY Mellon has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector.

“Our team will benefit from his expertise and notable success in the areas of sales and business development, fiduciary relationship management and strategic financial planning,” said Barnyak. “Additionally, his influence will be welcome as we continue to expand our efforts in the mergers and acquisition space."
